iPhone 4s released 14 Oct 2011

Dear bloggers,

The long awaited iPhone 4s is to be released on 14oct. I've predicted long ago it would be an iPhone 4s because it's a market strategy but when the iPhone 5 rumours came up a few weeks it suddenly come back the jumped on every apple fan because its a leap. Also, a few weeks back an Apple employee who drop the prototype iPhone 5 in a bar was a big one but then announced that they would be having iPhone 4s instead yesterday.

There are a few reasons that I personally think that iPhone 4s is announced because 4g technology is still new in the market and Apple always want to be the best in the market. So, normally they would research all the tiny bits and then come out with a new iPhone. What I think too is the next iPhone would be iPhone 4g and then the era of the new iPhone numerical will end at iPhone 4gs. After that probably would come to iPhone (7th gen) << example. This is what I think.

The design is still the same but Its a new iPhone. But how will it compare to android or other competitions.

These are the new specs for the iPhone 4s:

• iOS 5
• 3 different memory sizes ranging from 16GB,32GB,64GB
• 8 megapixel camera
• HD recording @ 1080p, 30fps
• Video stabilization ( for shaky hands)
• Front camera : VGA @ 30 fps
• Photo and video geographically tagging
• Longer lasting battery
• Virtuall Assistant
• PC Free

What are listed down are just a few of the new specifications.

This time, Apple would be offering 8mp camera which is unique to other phones because normally we would think that high megapixels gives you better image which some people have a wrong concept on it. What they put in a state-of-art megapixel sensor. This megapixel sensor sensor is going to help you make your pictures as perfect even after you pinch zoom =). Also, 73% more light and IR filter. This is equally same to a dslr camera. Adding on to it, 1080p HD recording will also be available to the iPhone 4s and will be running at 30fps.

Another cool new feature is 'SIRI' , Siri on iPhone 4S lets you use your voice to send messages, schedule meetings, place phone calls, and more. Ask Siri to do things just by talking the way you talk. Siri understands what you say, knows what you mean, and even talks back. Siri is so easy to use and does so much, you’ll keep finding more and more ways to use it.

First Post On Foodie ^^

Lookie here dear friends. Guess what? Its Dim Sum! It was my first try on making these little cute siu mais' . It wasn't perfect but it was sure delicious.

The ingredients were simple, pork belly, prawns, chinese mushrooms, ginger and won ton skins. I did marinate the pork and prawns with shao shing wine for a couple of hours to get rid of the smell. Remember to cut the skin of the pork belly and de-vein the prawns. *(try and de-vein the prawns because the black things on the back are actually poo. Avoid going to restaurants if you spot the prawns is unviened because it is just uncomfortable to eat it and the chef might be lazy to even take out the simplest job).

What could make yours better is you could use a processing machine and grind all those ingredients together. I did use the traditional way to do it which was cutting it into thin slices and mince them myself. Wasn't too hard though. If you love food you could do it. Below are the ingredients I used to make Alvin's Siu Mai

Wonton skins

Pork belly

Prawns

Chinese mushrooms
Ginger

Shaoxing wine

Sesame oil

Light soy sauce

Dark sweet soy sauce

Oyster sauce

Salt
Pepper
Sugar

*Please note : Try to steam one Siu Mai first before continuing to do the rest. Do not worry about how the skin looks like because in the end it will turn out beautifully. (The uglier they look, the better it will look and lastly practice makes perfect)
